Romford Hockey Club caters for all ages. We offer training on a Monday night at Robert Clack School between 6:00pm and 7:00pm for the younger players (7-16) where they can learn new skills and polish up old ones.

We have coaches for different abilities and we also provide coaching for the younger members of the club. In addition to that we also have an older boys coach to teach the older and more advanced players. We have a separate coach for the Ladies section. We can supply all the equipment needed to start enjoying the benefits of Hockey

We as a club try to put our kids first entering them into many competitions and tournaments. Our main tounament for our youngest members is the White Knights Mini Hockey Tournament (click here for results) in which we enter alongside Upminster Hockey Club. This tournament is aimed for young players who do not play on a saturday. In the past we have entered teams for all levels of the competition i.e. Under 9 Mixed, Under 11 Boys, Under 11 Girls, Under 13 Boys, Under 13 Girls. In the 2004/5 season we won our league winning the plate at old loughtonians hockey club. We also have 2 East Representatives and 2 Essex Representatives includes captain at Under 14 girls

Further to this we have also have an Under 16 Boys, Under 16 Girls and Under 16 Mixed teams. We have a number of umpires at our disposal and two excellent youth coaches - Stuart Boyling and Steve Edwards.

Our Under 16 Mixed team has been entered into a league which started up last season and we also arrange friendlies throughout the season but its not just for the youngest members of the club we also have an excellent Under 19 Boys, Under 19 Girls and Under 19 Mixed teams

In particular the Under 19 Mixed team recently entered a tournament and came second to Dunmow by a point. All our teams play at a high standard for more info contact:
